On a visit to The Toledo Museum of Art Reference Library, Frederick Birkhill gifted 5 boxes of books on

glass from his personal library. Several books were published in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century

Frederick visited The HABATAT Galleries to see The 50th Annual International Glass Exhibition and had a

Great conversation with Aaron Schey, co-owner. He also gifted a signed copy of Glassworks: The Art of Frederick Birkhill

to The Hampson/Schey Family.

Stuart Reid and Dr. Doreen Balabanoff wrote the main essay in the book.

The Michigan Photographic Historical Society (MiPHS) met for its Annual Meeting and 50th Anniversary at The William Clements Library at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor on October 22, 2022. Initiating and Charter Members were recognized by Len Walle. Frederick Birkhill is one of five initiating founding members of MiPHS.
